Are you ready to start a career as a bartender? Holiday Inn West Covina is looking for an energetic, friendly, goal oriented individual to join our team as a Bartender. A great start for people who just learned to bartend.

The Bartender is responsible for Prepare and serve drinks and/or food for guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner, while providing outstanding service. Also, act as cashier for the lounge.

Responsibilities:

Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes stocking all beer, wine, spirits, and all other products that use to serve the guests.

• Greeting and welcoming guests promptly
• Checking guests for proper identification
• Serving food and drinks to guests, along with filling orders for the servers
• Notifying the manager if a guest is becoming intoxicated or rude
• Filling and cleaning ice bins, clean and empty trash cans, change kegs, stock beer and wine coolers
• Cleaning shelves, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders, and soda guns
• Following uniform and grooming specifications
• Maintaining cooperative communication with the support crew and management
• Unpacking deliveries and stock the bar
• Inputting orders into the POS and creates a check for each guest, including beverages served by the others
• Receiving cash from guests, verifying the validity of charges, making changes as needed, and making sure all vouchers are properly executed
• Locking up and storing all beverage and other equipment items
• Deposit cash drops and securing banks.
• Performing other duties as requested by management.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
